Gulfline Boat Transport — Transport Policies
Effective Date: September 9, 2026
These policies provide a plain-English overview of Gulfline Boat Transport LLC’s operating practices. Each transport is also subject to the applicable written quote, booking confirmation, and signed Transportation Service Agreement. If there is any conflict, the signed Transportation Service Agreement controls.
1. Transportation Services
Gulfline provides point-to-point road transportation for recreational boats and PWCs within Florida.
Gulfline does not provide boat launching, retrieval, ramp assistance, marine towing, salvage or recovery, storage, mechanical or trailer repair, or crane/lift loading.
2. Customer-Owned Trailers
All boats and PWCs must be presented on a customer-owned trailer that is properly suited to the vessel.
Gulfline does not provide trailers.
3. Trailer Requirements & Pre-Transport Review
The customer is responsible for presenting a trailer that is lawfully registered or permitted, appropriately rated, roadworthy, and safe for highway transport.
Critical components—including the coupler, safety chains, brakes and breakaway equipment where required, tires, wheels, bearings, suspension, lighting, and securement equipment—must be serviceable.
Gulfline may perform a limited visual and functional review before transport. This is not a mechanical inspection, safety certification, or guarantee that hidden defects do not exist. Gulfline may decline or delay any combination that appears unsafe, unlawful, overweight, improperly loaded, or outside equipment limits.
4. Boat Preparation & Securement
Customers should remove or securely stow loose, fragile, detachable, or wind-sensitive items before pickup. Covers should be removed unless specifically designed and properly secured for highway towing.
Gulfline may supplement or adjust accessible securement when appropriate, including use of Company-supplied transport straps.
5. Pickup & Delivery Access
Customers must provide lawful and reasonably safe access for the truck-and-trailer combination and disclose gates, narrow roads, low clearances, soft ground, steep grades, restricted areas, or other access limitations.
If the requested location cannot be accessed safely, an alternate nearby location may be required.
6. Condition Documentation
Gulfline may photograph or video the boat, trailer, hitch area, securement, and other relevant areas at pickup, during transport, and at delivery to document observable condition and service records.
7. Quotes, Mileage & Additional Charges
Quotes are based on the route, total mileage, boat and trailer information, access conditions, and scope disclosed when quoted.
Local transport starts at $200.
Material route changes, additional mileage, excessive waiting, inaccessible locations, customer-caused delays, inaccurate information, trailer-related roadside events, or additional work outside the original quote may result in additional charges. Material charges will be communicated when reasonably practicable. This is consistent with your agreement.
8. Payment
Gulfline accepts major credit/debit cards and cash.
A $50 booking deposit must be captured before dispatch. The remaining balance is authorized at booking and captured after successful hookup and Gulfline’s pre-transport review, before departure from the pickup location, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
9. Cancellation, Rescheduling & Mobilization
Cancellations or rescheduling made 24 hours or more before the scheduled pickup are not charged a fee.
Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 24 hours before pickup but before Gulfline dispatches may be subject to a $50 late-cancellation fee.
Once Gulfline has dispatched, a mobilization charge may apply if the customer cancels, is unavailable, or the job cannot proceed because the boat, trailer, documentation, or access conditions are unsafe, unlawful, unavailable, or materially different from what was disclosed.
No cancellation fee will be charged when Gulfline cancels a transport because of weather, safety concerns, equipment availability, or another circumstance within Gulfline’s responsibility.
10. Delays, Waiting & Roadside Events
Normal loading, documentation, and handoff time is included in the quoted transport price.
Customer-caused waiting beyond the included period may be charged at $25 per 15 minutes, as stated in your Transportation Service Agreement.
If a customer-owned trailer or vessel causes a roadside interruption, the customer is responsible for reasonable third-party roadside, repair, towing, or storage charges, together with applicable additional time or mileage.
Traffic, weather, crashes, road closures, law enforcement activity, emergencies, and other conditions outside Gulfline’s reasonable control may affect pickup or delivery times. Pickup and delivery times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing.
11. Insurance
Gulfline performs transportation services only while appropriate commercial automobile liability and cargo insurance applicable to its transportation operations are in force.
Coverage is subject to the actual terms, conditions, exclusions, deductibles, valuation provisions, and limits of the policies in effect for the transport. Customers should maintain their own insurance appropriate for the full value of their boat, trailer, and related property.
A Certificate of Insurance may be provided upon request.
12. Safety Comes First
Gulfline will not knowingly operate an unsafe or unlawful truck-and-trailer combination. Safety, legal compliance, and manufacturer equipment limits take priority over schedule or customer preference.
